Why it matters
The moment a camera matters is the moment something has already happened. That is when a business finds out the recorder stopped three weeks ago, or that retention was four days and the incident was five days ago.
Doors on physical keys have the same problem in reverse: nobody knows how many copies exist, and a key cannot be revoked.
How we work
We place cameras for the view that will be needed, not for the count on the quote. The recorder is sized for a retention period we agree in writing, and we verify it after installation by checking the oldest recording.
Door access is on cards or biometrics, managed centrally. When someone leaves, their access is removed the same day. Cameras and recorders are monitored, so a camera going dark is a ticket that day, not a discovery later.
